Hello, we're The Snarky Cats of Ulthar, digital comic book creators (An Introduction to the Fine Art of Monster Slaying) and bloggers.

We started this blog because we felt like our Weird Fiction and Cosmic Horror reviews were getting lost among all the other posts of our main blog. It was supposed to be more like a subsection and we were going to post the reviews on both of them. However, it has now become more independent and there won't be any duplicate posting - everything on literary Weird Fiction, the Cthulhu Mythos, and Cosmic Horror will come here, and only here from now on. The vast majority of the works we review aren't recent (really, Wretchedness is the only exception so far) and we intend to keep it that way. There are 4 post categories - Weird Fiction, Cthulhu Mythos, Cosmic Horror, and Occult Detectives - which you can find on the sidebar. Since some of the categories overlap, we made an authors list, too. If we've written at least 2 posts about them and there's a good chance we'll be writing more, we add them to the list, which you can also find on the sidebar (please, do check the sidebar) (thank you).
